Assam: 1,585 new COVID-19 cases has took place in Assam, taking the state’s tally to 1,82,396 and1,904 patients recovered while 14 persons died of the infection in the last 24 hours.
Assam Health Minister Sarma said the positivity rate of Assam continued to be low for the last 4 days (3.98%).
Meanwhile, 1,904 more patients were discharged from the disease in the last 24 hours after their recovery.
With the release of these patients, the total number of patients recovered in the state stands at 1,47,519.While 14 more patients died on Thursday, the death toll increased to 711.
Health minister Sarma has applauded the medical team for its 24×7 service, from testing to treatment of patients.
