What is PR? : If I describe Public Relations I would say, Public relations is the practice of managing the spread of information between an individual or an organization and the public. It is also known as the science of image building for an individual, organization or corporate.
When do you need PR? : Public Relation is used basically to develop clean and good image in the eyes of the Public, but the real challenge of PR comes when your client is in a crisis situation. PR person acts as a mouthpiece for the organization during such situations.
Where do you need the help of PR? : “If I was down to my last dollar, I would spend it on public relations” This quote by Bill Gates explains the importance of PR. PR is not only used to disseminate information, PR can be also used as a investment for the organization. Though the return of Investment can’t be seen, but you can feel it. PR can act as weapon to bring back the lost glory.
Who are your Clients? : To be short and simple, everybody and everything that wants publicity or wants to enter a market for any specific reason can be your potential client.
Why do you need PR? : Public relation is a vital part of maintaining the organization’s image and communicating its message to its customers, investors and the general public. So you need PR not only to communicate but also to build a good image in the market.
How do you need to execute PR? : Executing a PR plan is nothing but a matter of common sense, to execute a plan you have to understand the nature of your client, need of the client and plan things accordingly.
