Adipurush, which was released on June 16, received a lot of backlash from the audience. The film fetched negative reviews from all over the country. Starting from the shoddy VFX to the dialogues, the film seems to have not met the expectations of the moviegoers. Amid this, it has now been announced that Ramanand Sagar’s popular show Ramayan will soon have a rerun on television. Shemaroo TV announced that the mythological show would begin airing from July 3 on the channel. For the uninitiated, fans have been comparing Adipurush to Ramayan.
Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia played the roles of Ram and Sita respectively in Ramayan while Sunil Lahiri played Lakshman. Sharing a video from the TV show, the Instagram handle of Shemaroo TV wrote, “World famous mythological serial Ramayan is back for all the fans and our audience. Watch it from July 3, 7.30pm, on your favourite channel Shemaroo TV) (sic).”
