0 Guwahati: Dastbi MMA, a city based popular MMA organisation has announced a 5 days workshop on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for general people and beginners along with self-defense and Rules and BJJ for Fighters & Coaches. The workshop will take place at Guwahati and will start on 17th of January.
Prof. Johnny Garcia from the USA will be training the fighters and coaches. Prof. Johnny Garcia is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) Black Belt 3 Stripes under Felipe Costa.
The agenda of this workshop is to promote the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu(BJJ) in the country and state. They are also searching for talented upcoming fighters from northeast to compete in the United States and other international platforms. This workshop also aims at creating awareness on self-defense for females.
Founder of Dastbi MMA Mr Angkim Kayshap Sharma on the occasion said, “We are blessed by the presence of Prof. Johnny Garcia from USA, we are keen to develop a international level fighting standard in Guwahati and in entire northeast, we have lots of potential in our region and we only require the proper guidance and training to achieve our goals.”
