Jagame Thandhiram’s teaser has come. Makers have confirmed that the movie will release on Netflix.
Dhanush much-awaited film Jagame Thandhiram is coming on Netflix, announced by the makers today. Along with the announcement, the team of Jagame Thandhiram gave everyone a glimpse of Dhanush’s character Suruli. The teaser is receiving great response across the country.
For a few days some rumors were coming that producer Sashikanth of Y Not Studios received an offer for Jagame Thandhiram that he couldn’t refuse however they kept the OTT release secret and today the makers of the film unveiled the film’s teaser.
Y Not Studios released the teaser and wrote, “Suruli is here. Watch the #JagameThandhiramTeaser Now ! (sic).”The teaser introduced Dhanush character’s name Suruli. He was looking like a notorious gangster from Madurai who gets stuck in London with international goons.
With the teaser, makers also said the film will come to Netflix. The official released date will be declared soon.
According to some rumors Dhanush is not really happy with OTT release, on 2nd February he wrote on twitter that “I am hoping for the theatrical release of Jagame Thandiram like the theatre owners, exhibitors, distributors, cinema lovers and most of all my fans. Fingers crossed (sic).”
Jagame Thandhiram is tipped to be a gangster action-thriller film set in London. The film stars Dhanush, Joju George, Kalaiyarasan Soundararaja, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Vadivukkarasai in important roles.
In a press statement, director Karthik said, “Jagame Thandhiram is my dream film. A script that is close to my heart. A story that needs to be told, and heard by audiences across the world. This film has found a new way to speak to its audience.”
