Professor Sathyabhama Das Biju, popularly known as the “Frogman of India,” visited Assam Don Bosco University on the 10th April 2025. Professor Biju, a Senior Professor at the Department of Environmental Studies, University of Delhi, is renowned for his extensive research in amphibian systematics, evolution, behavior, and biogeography, contributing significantly to the discovery and documentation of amphibian species in India delivered a lecture at Don Bosco University on the Amphibians in India’s Biodiversity hotspots. Students, Research Scholars and Faculties from different Universities attended the session and gained a lot of insights into the world of Ambhibians
