Dubai: RCB skipper Virat Kohli was fined for maintaining a slow over-rate during their defeat to Kings XI Punjab in Thursday’s Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 in Dubai.
Kohli was fined Rs 12 lakh as it was RCB’s first offense of IPL Code of Conduct regarding minimum over rate.
RCB were handed one of the biggest defeats – a 97-run hammering by KXIP. KL Rahul hit 132, the highest score by an Indian in the IPL, in just 69 balls as the former finalists posted 206 on the board in 20 overs.
