0 From the third quarter of this year Jeff Bezos won’t be the CEO of Amazon anymore. He has decided to step down to look after his other ventures.
In a latter to his employees Jeff Bezos announced that he is about to leave his CEO-ship of Amazon from the third quarter of this year. He has been the CEO of Amazon since it was founded. He is the founder and CEO of Amazon but recently he has decided to step down to look after his other ventures.
Amazon was founded in July 5 in 1994 26years ago and since then Jeff Bezos was it’s CEO. Jeff Bezos is the Chairmen and President of the company as well. Amazon is an online multinational technology company, now that Jeff Bezos is stepping down Andy Jassey has been designated as the new CEO.

In his letter Bezos mentioned that Jassey have been working with him since a long time and he has full faith on him regarding the success of his company. ‘’Andy is well known inside the company and has been at Amazon almost as long as I am’’ Bezos wrote on his letter.
Jassey joined Amazon in 1997 as a marketing manager. His Education is done from Harvard Business School on MBA. He worked as technical assistant to Bezos early in his career. And he is also known to found Amazon Web Services also known as AWS. He is married with 2 children.
Bezos has his faith on Jassey. Jassey have been working in the company since 1997 he started as a Marketing Manager and now he is been designated as the CEO of the company where he spent his entire life.
