Mumbai Indians have invited Nagaland Khrievitso Kense for the trials of IPL.
IPL franchise Mumbai Indians invited leg spinner Khrievitso Kense for the trails after seeing his extraordinary performance in Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament.
Khrievitso played four matches in the tournament and picked 7 wickets with the great economy rate of 5.47.
Nagaland Cricket Association’s secretary Hyunilo Anilo Khing praised 16 years old Khrievitso Kense in the Twitter
“Excited to share about this young 16 years old leg spinner Khrievitso Kense who made his debut in Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament and has been shortlisted by Mumbai Indians”
Earlier MI Released New Zealand’s Mitchell McClenaghan, Australian Nathan Coulter-Nile and fast bowler James Pattinson for IPL 2021 auction. MI also made free to Sherfane Rutherford and Mumbai Indian’s star bowler Lasith Malinga announced his retirement from franchise cricket.
Mumbai Indians has retained some of their special player like captain Rohit Sharma and top order batsman Quinton de Kock. Suryakumar Yadav and Wicket keeper batsman Ishan Kishan has also been retained for this season of IPL along with all-rounder Kieron Pollard, leading pacers Jasprit Bumrah and New Zealand’s fast bowler Trent Boult, and opener Chris Lynn will play this year also for Mumbai Indians.
According to BCCI official the 14th edition of Indian Premier League all set to start from 11th April 2021 where eight teams will fight for the cup.
Previous year IPL was delayed due to COVID19 pandemic. Instead of April or May last year it started from September. This year the series is happening in its rightful time with crowd control.
