0 Guwahati, 26 October 2024: Angel Mahanta student of class 11 of Modern English School, Kahilipara Guwahati has won bronze in the 10m Pistol Shooting event at the CBSE Nationals Shooting Championship 2024-25.
Mrs. Jonali Das, Principal of Modern English School Kahilipara on the occasion said, “ We are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Angel Mahanta from Class 11, secured the 3rd position in the 10m Pistol Shooting event at the CBSE Nationals Shooting Championship her dedication, focus, and hard work have truly paid off. She has made Modern English School incredibly proud by demonstrating excellence and sportsmanship at the national level.”
In the ongoing CBSE Cluster – I tournament, students of Modern English School has shined in sports like chess, yoga, table tennis, athletics, 200m race, athletics 1500-meter race, among other sports.
Modern English School has also recently organised CBSE Cluster – I Badminton Tournament 2024 which took place in Guwahati from 24th to 26th September 2024 at Ganesh Mandir Indoor Stadium, Khanapara.
