Guwahati 13 September, Assam – Radio Gupshup, a leading radio station in the region, successfully concluded its highly anticipated local college talent hunt, Local Rockstar, with a grand finale event held at Assam Down Town University on 12th September.
The competition, which saw participation from over 50 talented individuals representing top colleges, universities, and educational institutions across guwahati , we have visited top 11 colleges, universities and educational institutions aimed to provide a platform for young and aspiring talent to showcase their skills and flair.
After a rigorous selection process, Charlene Mahalia from Girijananda Chowdhury University emerged as the winner of the Local Rockstar title, taking home the coveted award and recognition. Krituraj Das from Guwahati Commerce College was declared the 1st runner-up, while Swandeepan Saikia from Nerim secured the 2nd runner-up position.
The grand finale event was graced by esteemed judge Sidhartha Kashyap, a renowned actor, along with Radio Gupshup’s senior sound engineer Shahrukh and junior sound engineer Bhargab Bhagawati. The event was further energized by the presence of the local Kungfu 3 team, who was our entertaining partner. Seven Sense Communication leading Public Relations agency of Guwahati Assam also extended their support as a PR partner for the event.
