Virus variant which was suspected by the scientist to be possibly not only contagious than others but also lethal , has now been declared by them in a document that, it is likely to be more dangerous , leading to hospitalization and causing death.
The first detected in Britain, coronavirus named variant virus , has been found by the British scientist to be infectious than the first trend and according to them , it is more lethal and highly dangerous causing hospitalization and death, leading to a new phase of pandemic once again.
Firstly, the British scientist stated that there is “realistic possibility” for the virus to be more dangerous, but now they declared it is “likely” not only contagious but also a serious risk of more hospitalization and death can be assumed by them due to this Variant virus which was first detected in Britain.
The public announcement of the new findings by the scientist has not been made yet by the British Government since, much more analysis and research is needed to be done by the Scientists further, comparing the number of deaths caused by the Covid-19 to the deaths caused by the Variant Virus known as B.1.1.7 . It was rather posted in a document on a government website on Friday.
Neil Ferguson, a public health researcher and scientific adviser to the British government, said in an interview on Saturday that , ” The overall picture is one of something like a 40% to 60% increase in hospitalization risk and risk of death,”
“I think these results are possibly genuine, although there are still several limitations, and we need to understand what causes it,” said Muge Cevik, an infectious disease expert at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland and a scientific adviser to the British government.
The most dangerous thing about the first detected Virus in Britain is that, the scientist has stated it to be likely 30-50% more spreading virus than Covid-19 and might be more than that figure too.
