Silchar: Aritra Dhar, a boy from Silchar shares his exciting story from Republic Day parade on 26 January.
Aritra’s day starts with practice session at Rajpath which was their daily routine. The practice session was very hard as it use to starts from 4:00 am, it use to be dark but seeing Indian Army Contingent and the “Josh” they had filled his heart with joy and excitement made him forget all the darkness. After the practice session Indian Army Contingent leave the parade ground in two separate rows and before leaving the ground they showed their patriotic feeling by clapping hands and cheering them up.
The combination of crowed, decoration and their patriotic spirit in the air made it seem like a festival, perhaps one of the best festivals. Whereas his best experience and his best memory will always be 24 January as on that day he went to PM house and got the chance to meet PM Narendra Modi and also got the chance to capture the moments.
At the end of the parade he got to witness two of the best Jets of Indian Air Force, Trishul and Rafale which approx 900 km/hour speed before leaving the sky with full speed. Both the Jets showed various stunts which mesmerized him.
There were total 4 boys and 4 girls who were selected for the parade from Assam. Aritra Dhar was one of lucky ones. Hailing from a decent background from the Silchar he represented East Assam at the Republic Day parade while talking to The Business Daily he expresses his gratitude to his family, friends and entire Barak Valley for loving and supporting him at every point in his life. He believes their love and support is the reason behind where he is now. Aritra Dhar was the General Secretary of Assam University Silchar Union of 2019-2020 tenure. Students of Assam University were glad when they got to know that Aritra is participating in the parade.
