Lead: BSNL takes on Jio’s 199 plan by updating their own. BSNL now lets it’s users to have Unlimited On and Off Net Calls on their newly updated 199 plan
A revision of plan was made by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for their 199 post-paid plan. Earlier this plan used to provide 300 minutes of Off Net Calls, but not anymore. Now, the plan let’s the users to have Unlimited Off Net Calls as well as let’s the user to forward their calls absolutely free.
199 post-paid plan of BSNL provides 25gb of monthly data along with data rollover facility for up to 75gb. The plan was revised and has been in effect since 1st February 2021, by this plan BSNL takes on Jio’s 199 plan which also lets its users to have Unlimited calls but only to other Jio users along with 1.5gb daily data as well as 100 SMS daily and 1000 minutes for non-jio calls.
What is ‘On Net’ and ‘Off Net’ Calls? Well, On Net Calls are those calls which are made from a particular network to another number of the same network where as Off Net Calls are those where the caller calls from a particular network to a number of different network.
Last December BSNL also revised their plan of 1999 prepaid plan. In that plan they added annual Eros Now subscription and 60days Lokdhun subscription.
